Community Health Educators
Community Health Educators (CHE) is a peer-led health education group whose goal is to empower New Haven public school students to make decisions about their bodies and their futures. CHE seeks to break down the barriers of traditional health education through a comprehensive curriculum that is rooted in open conversation and empathy.
CHE is run entirely by college students and we offer workshops on a range of subjects including mental health, sexual health, relationships, nutrition, and identity.

They are responsible for selecting Steering Committee members and CHE teachers, planning the organization's Monday Night Meetings (MNMs), working with advisors to enhance CHE's curriculum and the training of its teachers, and increasing CHE's outreach efforts in New Haven.
